The 10th annual Huron County Cultural Awards were held in Goderich Friday night.
In recognition of the 10th anniversary, awards were given to the top ten winners, who were selected in online voting from the 46 winners over the past nine years.
Cultural Development Officer Rick Sickenger said he was very pleased with the depth of Huron culture and the diversity that was represented by the 10 winners.
"We had businesses like IceCulture being number one, a historian being number two, to community endeavours like Kingsbridge Centre, right down from the individual artist right down to the business and then someone who is globally known, like Alice Munro," he said.
Sickenger said the Cultural Awards night is a great way to recognize outstanding effort.
"It brings the arts, culture and heritage sector together," he added.
