Howick Fire Alarmed for Life program resumes Tuesday

The Howick Township Fire Department's Alarmed For Life program begins Tuesday evening and will run every Tuesday in May and June from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Uniformed Howick firefighters with specific training will be going door-to-door throughout the village of Wroxeter in May and Gorrie in June.

Fire Chief Shawn Edwards said they will offer residents free home smoke alarm inspections, replacements, or provide smoke alarms to residents who take part.

All residents are reminded to test their smoke alarms on a regular basis and replace them if they are older than 10 years.
