"The Grotto" at Bruce Peninsula National Park near Tobermory has been reopened after police concluded their search for a missing male on Sunday.
Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police say they were called just after 4 p.m. on Saturday for a man in distress in the water.
The Grotto is a cave cut into a cliff face, and is a notable natural formation at the park.
Witnesses say the 24-year-old jumped in with a friend, but immediately showed signs of distress, went under and failed to re-surface.
Grey Bruce OPP officers, Canadian Coast Guard and Park staff completed a search of the water and shoreline but the male was not located.
