Bruce Power to co-host FireFit competition with local fire department

An estimated 120 firefighters from all over Canada will descend on Saugeen Shores this weekend.

They are coming to compete in the FireFit Championships, which are described as the "toughest two minutes in sports." Firefighters will be competing in various real life emergency situations to see who the best crew in Canada is.

The event this year is co-hosted by Bruce Power and and the Saugeen Shores Fire Department, and takes place this Saturday and Sunday, July 13th and 14th at the Port Elgin Main Beach. The competition hasn’t taken place in Saugeen Shores since 2016. Admission for the public is free.
