Saugeen Shores police building grand opening set

Residents can check out the new Saugeen Shores Police Service (SSPS) building at a Grand Opening this week.

The Police Service will be operational in the new building in October of 2019.

The approved budget for the building was $6.8 million, and the forecasted total project will come in under the approved budget.

The public can join the Saugeen Shores Police Service and the Town to celebrate the building’s Grand Opening this Wednesday, September 25, 2019.

The ribbon-cutting is at 2 p.m. with refreshments and tours to follow.

The building is located at 1240 Mackenzie Rd. in Port Elgin.
