Owen Sound firefighters and police responded to the scene in the 900 block of 6th Avenue East, across from the Julie McArthur Centre, near the YMCA.
Police said roads will be closed near the scene, and residents and drivers should avoid the area.
Hospitals in southwestern Ontario are feeling the effects of underfunding, according to a new report by the CCPA.
