OPP identify victim of fatal rollover in Goderich

A single-vehicle crash in Goderich took the life of a 65-year-old man from North Bay. Omer Viau was killed in the single-vehicle crash and rollover in Goderich Monday evening Huron County Paramedic Services, the OPP, and Goderich Fire Department responded to an area just off of Cove Road in Goderich.

They found an SUV down a steep embankment at the end of Elgin Avenue West. The SUV had rolled over in a treed area near Cove Road.

The driver and lone occupant was pronounced dead at the scene.

This crash remains under investigation, any witnesses to this crash are asked to contact Huron OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or (519) 524-8314.
