A missing person has been found deceased in Wiarton.
On October 8, Grey Bruce OPP were called to a Berford Street residence in Wiarton about a missing person. The caller told police her 83-year-old husband had gone out walking at 11 a.m. but she hadn't heard from him since.
At 6:44 p.m. that evening, officers were notified that a male was found in Bluewater Park with no vital signs. Local Bruce County Paramedics and a designate from the Coroner's office attended the scene, and pronounced the man deceased.
The death is not deemed suspicious by police.
