Deputy Fire Chief Chad Kreger says they were called to a location on Cranbrook Road about 10:00 a.m. Monday.
He says the farmhouse was used for storage, and it was a total loss, along with a couple of the vehicles that were parked nearby.
The cause is under investigation, but the blaze is not considered suspicious.
Hospitals in southwestern Ontario are feeling the effects of underfunding, according to a new report by the CCPA.
Fortunately, no children were on board the bus, but the drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
