Officers responded to an alarm call at a gas station on Amberley Road in the early morning hours of January 17.
Upon arrival, the officers noted two doors had been pried open.
The suspect had already fled the scene by the time police arrived.
An undisclosed quantity of cash was stolen.
Anyone with information on this incident can contact Huron County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
