Huron County is launching a new attraction at its County Museum and Historic Gaol.
Business Development Manager Erin Samuell said funding for the Shareable Moments Challenge came from the Regional Tourism Organization #4.
“We're going to build a permanent selfie station in front of the jail," Samuell explained. "We are going to hire an artist to re-create one of the jail doors and put it outside the jail and it'll be a permanent artistic installation that people can come and use to take selfies with and it'll be accessible 24 hours a day.”
She said they hope to launch the Selfie Station this spring but they don't have a date yet.
