Kincardine foodbank donation

The Kincardine Food Bank has received a generous donation from the Kincardine Nimrod Club.

The club, out of the Kincardine and area sports shooting range, has donated $1,000 to help the food bank support the community.

Club president, Vern Steffler, says it is even more significant now as a result of the terrible tragedy in Nova Scotia over the weekend, as these clubs show Canadians they promote peace, not violence.

Steffler says the club is proud to be able to make this donation, and will continue to look for ways to help the community.

The club is made up of people between the ages of 12 and 80.
