A drug bust in Owen Sound has netted methamphetamine, suspected fentanyl, illicit edible cannabis product as well as more than $3,400 in cash proceeds of crime.
On Tuesday, April 28, at approximately 6:25 p.m. members of the Owen Sound Police Service Drug Enforcement Unit and Criminal Investigations Branch concluded a drug trafficking investigation with the arrest of an Owen Sound man in the 1000 block of 2nd Avenue East.
At the time of the arrest, police seized a functional taser, along with a prohibited knife and an expandable baton.
A 42-year-old man was charged with numerous offences including possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of prohibited weapons, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of proceeds of crime and breach of a release order.
