The Grey-Bruce Alzheimer's Society logo.A Teeswater man's latest walk for Alzheimer's has helped raise $14,000 for the Grey/Bruce and Huron societies.
72-year old Peter Carter took part in the IG Wealth Management Walk on Sunday. It was a virtual walk all across Canada because of COVID-19.
Peter, and his wife Jo-Ann, walked four kilometres in Teeswater.
With 10 walks under his belt, Carter has raised over $86,000 and is planning for the 2021 event.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
