ATV stolen as Huron County farmer checks his field

Huron County OPP officers are investigating, after a Honda ATV that was stolen out of a field located in Ashfield Colborne Wawanosh while the owner was checking his bean crop

Police were told the theft of the red 2019 Honda 500 occurred on Halls Hill Line sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

The owner had left the unattended ATV with keys in the ignition. When he returned he observed the suspect driving away on his machine heading east on Zion Road.

The suspect is described as a 40-year-old white man with a black goatee.

The stolen ATV worth $9,000. has a tow bar attached to the front.
