Final Cruise Saugeen Shores to benefit Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation

The final Cruise Saugeen Shores event will be held this week to benefit the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation.

Thursday, September 3 will be the final running of the event for this year, with show cars and motorcycles gathering at the Plex in Port Elgin at 6:30 p.m. for the cruise, which begins at 7 p.m. The event has drawn well over 50 cars and motorcycles each week, with the previous running raising over $250 for the hospital foundation.

The Cruise Saugeen Shores event was created to replace the regular Thursday night car shows at the big flag in Southampton held in previous years. To salute that event Cruise Saugeen Shores will wrap up at the flag just in time for sunset for the final running this year.
