UPDATE: Deceased identified following fatal crash near Brussels

Huron County Ontario Provincial Police have identified the victim who died in a motorcycle crash west of Brussels on Saturday.

At approximately 10:13 a.m., police, paramedics and the Huron East Fire Department responded to the scene located at the intersection of Morris Road (County Road #16) and Clyde Line.

Police say a motorcycle and a pickup truck collided within the intersection. The driver of the motorcycle, 70-year-old William Gallagher from Bluevale, was transported to a local hospital by ambulance where he was later pronounced deceased.

Members from the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management & Enforcement (TIME) Team continue to investigate the incident, and Morris Road has re-opened to traffic.
