Hydro One crews continue to assess and repair damage after yesterday's severe storm.
Over 8,000 residents of Midwestern Ontario are still without power, and many of them will not have their electricity restored until 8pm tomorrow night.
Please be advised all Westario Power customers in the communities of Harriston and Clifford will experience a power outage due to Loss of Supply starting at 13:00 today; for an approximate duration of up to four hours. This outage is necessary while transmission crews work to replace broken poles.
Power has been fully restored to all Westario Power customers in the town of Port Elgin
Westario Power crews will be patrolling the area during the restoration efforts to ensure power is safely restored after the required work has been completed.
Please stay clear of any fallen power lines, and if you spot a fallen power line, keep back at least ten metres. Even if it does not appear to be live, please report to local Police and call Westario Power at 1-866-978-2746)
