Hydro One crews are still working on restoring power to areas of the region.
Some of the largest clusters of outages are in the Port Elgin, Southampton and Sauble Beach areas where over 1,000 customers still need to be reconnected.
Hydro One's outage map also shows scattered outages affecting hundreds along the Lake Huron shoreline in Huron County and smaller clusters throughout the county.
Outages are also reported outside of Harriston in Wellington County.
Estimated restoration times range from mid-afternoon to late tonight.
