Grey Council provides information about land settlement with local First Nation

Grey County Council hosts an online and telephone public information session tonight about the transfer of ownership of the Mountain Lake Forest property to the Saugeen Ojibway Nation.

The transfer of title marks the settlement of Grey’s involvement in a longstanding land claim. Grey County Council endorsed the change October 8th

Grey County staff and representatives of the two First Nations will provide information and answer questions from the public.

The public information session starts at 7:00 p.m. People should email [email protected] to participate. If you want to watch, you can find the live stream at grey.ca/council/live-stream.
