Central Huron is getting its second charging station for electric vehicles.
Mayor Jim Ginn, says it will be located in front of the REACH Centre in Clinton.
“So it's going to be located just in front of the REACH Centre, on Bill Fleming Drive, so just as you turn off of Beech Street, into the REACH Centre and the arena, it will be right on your left and there'll be one station with two plug-ins for electric cars,” said Ginn.
It should be running by the end of the month and will be an addition to the current charging station.
“We do have one currently in the parking lot, just by the main intersection, so that parking lot where the old fire hall used to be on Highway 8, so there is a charging station in there and we don't charge anything for it at that one,” added Ginn.
