Central Huron Mayor, Jim Ginn, was joined by a few councillors to decorate Millenium Park, on highway 8 , just south of the main intersection, last week.
Ginn explains, the park was decorated by staff and volunteers last year.
"It was decorated up last winter, before Christmas and our local photographer, Arch Angel, was taking pictures there, which went over quite well, but with COVID this year, we won't be permitting that."
But Ginn says council felt it should be decorated, and so they took on the project themselves with a little help.
"So we decided we wanted to decorate it again this year, just to lighten everyone's spirits and, you know, the more lights and festivities we can have that people can drive by or walk by and see. We all know that we're getting tired of the pandemic and we need some things to brighten our spirits."
