A North Perth resident is facing sexual assault charges following a recent incident in Wellington North.
On December 18th, Wellington North OPP received a call regarding an alleged sexual assault that had occurred on December 17th at a Wellington North address.
After initial investigation, police arrested and charged 65-year-old William Russell Gill of North Perth on December 21st with Sexual Assault Contrary to the Criminal Code.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on January 26, 2021 to answer to the charge.
The charges have yet to be proven in court.
