Environment Canada has posted a weather advisory for Huron, Perth, Bruce, Grey and northern areas of Wellington.
That's because of lake effect snow expected to impact the area through the morning. And driving conditions could change quickly with the snowfall and icy roads. Weather conditions could vary over short distances.
The forecast is calling for some accumulation through Tuesday morning.
Road conditions are described as partially snow covered to snow covered across most of the region. Visibility ranges from good to fair with blowing snow at times.
Icy conditions are also being reported which could make the drive slippery.
Plows have been out through the morning.
