Students on-line learning schedule holds

The plan for schools is not changing.

Over the weekend, the province's Education Minister stated that timelines for on-line and in school learning will the stay the same after a provincial lockdown was announced in late December.

In a letter sent to parents on Saturday, Stephen Lecce reiterated that “schools are not a source of rising community transmission”.

Monday, students in the province begin on-line learning, that includes those in Kindergarten to Grade 12.

Those in K to Grade 8 will be back in class next week while those in Grades 9 to 12 will continue on-line learning until January 23.

Each school board has instructions on their websites outlining the plans and resources being used.
