A Brockton resident lost about $20,000 to a scammer claiming to work with an established tech company.
South Bruce OPP report the resident gave the suspect remote access to their computer, where the suspect completed several banking transactions.
A similar scam recently saw a resident of Arran-Elderslie lose $13,000.
OPP warn modern, tech-savvy scammers have the ability to create very convincing scams, often using the name of a legitimate company.
