A good helping of snow overnight has left roads snow covered across most of the region this morning.
Plows and sanders are out.
Visibility is reduced in areas of southern Huron and Perth. The weather radar showing a squall coming off the lake and moving from the Goderich area in a southeasterly direction, stretching over Highway 21. It is also nipping at parts of Highway 8 all of the way east to the intersection with Highway 4 and south of Clinton.
There is also reduced visibility reported on Highway 23 south of Listowel towards Mitchell and south of Mitchell.
That same streamer is also covering parts of Highway 21 north towards Kincardine. And a little bit of activity between Kincardine and Port Elgin.
And conditions in the Teeswater, Lucknow and Ripley areas are described as snow packed with fair visibiltiy.
Watch for some drifting and blowing snow at times in all areas of Midwestern Ontario.
Any squalls are expected to ease this morning.
