NWMO funds Huron Kinloss Community Well Being Projects

Despite the ongoing pandemic, Community organizations in the Township of Huron-Kinloss managed to complete a long list of Community Well-being projects in 2020. The Community Well Being Program supported 19 projects totaling $100,000. While 2020 posed delays and challenges, people got it done.

The program began in 2018 thanks to $300,000 offered by the Nuclear Waste Management Organization to enhance community capacity and well-being. That year, there were  30 applications and in 2019, 22 eligible applications were received. In total, the Township of Huron-Kinloss distributed the $300,000 in funding to various community organizations and groups.
