Environment Canada has issued a Winter Weather Travel Advisory for Huron, Perth, Bruce, Grey and Wellington.
It's also in place for regions bordering the counties if you head east towards Kitchener-Waterloo or south to London.
Snow is expected to start falling early this evening with the heaviest part of the snowfall during the first two to three hours.
5 to 10 cm could build quickly which will affect road conditions.
The temperature is expected to drop Friday afternoon to minus 5. And the colder temperatures will stay with us through the weekend.
There are also some squalls expected Friday before breaking up into Saturday and Sunday.
