Scammers are hard at work trying to steal your money during the pandemic.
Several people have reported scams related to the pandemic to South Bruce OPP.
Those include a scam involving a phone call from a person claiming to be with an established health agency to notify the victim of exposure to the virus. The caller then asks for personal information and a fee to process test results. Another scam involves a person posing as a "Contractor" knocking on doors to "spray for COVID"
If it seems too good to be true it likely is. Remember that you can't win a lottery or contest that you didn't enter in the first place. You work hard for your money, so work just as hard to protect it.
