Bruce County is inviting residents, businesses and visitors to help 'Plan the Bruce'.
The goal of the initiative through 2021 is to create a new County Official Plan. That's a roadmap to guide development and growth for the next 25 years.
The County of Bruce is developing policy direction for eight land use planning projects.
Included in that list is homes and increasing availability and mix, and growing business diversity.
Other areas include agriculture and heritage.
“The Official Plan affects everyone in Bruce County, from the roads we use and the homes we live in, to the natural spaces we enjoy and the places we shop,” said Bruce County Warden Janice Jackson. “By participating in the Plan the Bruce project, you can influence Bruce County’s future.”
