The goal of a webinar hosted by a Huron County group is to provide strategies to help people support those who are dealing with discrimination or racism.
Kristin Crane is Huron County's Immigration Partnership Coordinator and says the right strategy can help them become agents for change rather than just bystanders.
"It gives people practical strategies to better support people who are experiencing racism or discrimination in a community and take those strategies and be an agent for change," said Crane. "There are some strategies that will be shared to really look at a situation and assess it and realize you can make a difference for someone who might not be in such a good position to correct the situation."
The webinar, called 'How to be an Ally', runs 9:30 to 10:30 Friday morning.
People can register through the Huron County website under the Immigration Partnership section.
