OPP donates to local United Way

The Huron County OPP have donated funds from a recent fundraiser to the Perth-Huron United Way.

In a recent release, the Huron County OPP announced they presented a cheque for $700 to the Perth-Huron United Way after raising money during an internal bake sale amongst OPP staff. Huron OPP Detachment Commander, Inspector Jason Younan and Provincial Constable Spencer Whitelaw, who served as the fundraiser coordinator, handed over the cheque to Carole Stinson, Manager of Community Development for Perth-Huron-United Way on April 1st.

The Huron County OPP stated in the release that the donation is going toward helping the United Way address the #UNIGNORABLE issues in our communities, like poverty, homelessness, mental health, domestic violence, hunger and social isolation.
