Police investigating theft of scrap metal

The South Bruce OPP are investigating a recent theft of a large quantity of scrap metal.

On May 6th at 2:16 p.m., officers received a report of a theft from a property in the 3600 block of Highway 21 in the Municipality of Kincardine. Sometime between 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on May 3, a large metal bin with metal contents was taken. Stolen items in the bin include 25 foot lengths of 6 inch pipe, riding lawn mowers, metal doors, a metal hoist and large pieces of sheet metal. The value of the stolen property is estimated to be more than $7,000.

Anyone with any information regarding this theft is asked to contact South Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.
