Police arrest suspects with stolen copper wire

Two London men face charges after police got a call about a couple of suspicious individuals that were near the Bluewater Youth Corrections Centre.

The call was made around 11 a.m. Monday. And when officers arrived at the scene, they found one man sleeping inside the gated area. Police then found bags of cut, copper wire nearby.

After the first suspect was taken into custody, another suspect was later located and taken into custody.

The estimated value of the recovered stolen copper wire is approximately $1,200.

A 38-year old faces charges including break and enter, theft under $5,000 and possession of methamphetamine.

A 43-year old faces charges including break and enter and theft under $5,000.

The charges have yet to be proven in court.
