Goderich clinic moving sites in July

The COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Maitland Recreation Centre in Goderich is being moved in July.

Goderich Mayor John Grace says the clinic has been very successful and supported not only by the town of Goderich, but also by the county.

“The vaccine clinic is tentatively going to be moved on July 5th, with the last clinic at the Maitland Recreation Centre on July 3rd. There'll be no disruption of service at all. It will be seamless," said Grace.

Grace explains, the reason for the move is they want to prepare the Maitland Recreation Centre for ice users and other users so the kids can use the facility as a recreation destination.

He adds it is important to get the kids back into some form of recreation, both indoors and outdoors. Grace says they'll start preparing the ice surface in July.
