OPP charge one person in relation to mischief case

Huron County OPP officers have arrested and charged a 28-year-old Wingham native following a mischief occurrence.

On May 28th just after 8 p.m., officers received a call from a witness that reported a suspect was walking up and down Josephine Street in Wingham spray painting various street signs, street lights and store fronts. An officer attended the scene and located the suspect, and ultimately arrested and charged them. The accused has been charged with 6 counts of Mischief Under $5,000.

The accused has been released from custody and now has a court appearance scheduled for July 5th at the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich to answer to the charges.
