South Bruce OPP investigating offensive graffiti in Kincardine

South Bruce OPP officers are looking for vandals who applied offensive graffiti to the gazebo at Victoria Park in Kincardine.

Investigators are interested in viewing any video surveillance near Victoria Park between 8:00 a.m. on May 27, 2021 and 12:00 p.m. on May 28, 2021.

The offensive graffiti has since been removed, but the police investigation is continuing.

Police warn that graffiti is any writing, drawing or symbols applied to any surface without the property owner's permission. It is also a criminal offence called Mischief that carries a maximum of 2 years in jail upon conviction.

The South Bruce OPP is requesting anyone with information to call 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a secure web-tip at www.cstip.ca, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2000.
