A Go Fund Me account set up for the children of a Mapleton family has caught the attention of a lot people.
The fundraiser was set up after the drowning death of 33-year old Matt Ottens.
Police had responded to a call Sunday after it was reported that a man attempted a rescue after a child had jumped into the lake.
The child resurfaced but the man did not. That man was later identified as Ottens.
The Go Fund Me post describes Ottens as 'an amazing man, husband and friend'.
As of Tuesday morning, close to $114,000 had been raised to go towards an education fund for the family's four children.
