Teen suffers life altering injuries in crash north of Sebringville

A 14-year old from Stratford had to be transported to a regional trauma centre with life altering injuries after a crash involving an ATV.

Police, paramedics and fire crews responded to a call just after 8 p.m. Tuesday. Police say the teen was operating an ATV on Road 130 near Perth Line 36 in Perth East, when they lost control.

As a result, the rider was thrown from the vehicle.

The road was closed for most of the night while the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team investigated.

The investigation is ongoing.
