Huron County has announced its new Economic Development Officer. Vicki Lass officially joins the Huron County team on December 6th.
Lass comes to the County after working for the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs for nearly two decades, most recently as Agriculture and Rural Economic Development Advisor.
“Vicki brings great expertise and experience with her work with OMAF and it will be a real benefit to Huron County's economic development moving forward”, said Huron County Warden, Glen McNeil.
Her past experience includes retail management, strategic planning, environmental management, food safety, and economic development. Lass has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, a Diploma in Business and has completed a Certificate in Economic Development with the University of Waterloo.
“Huron County would really like to express a warm welcome to Vicki. She will be a tremendous asset to our team and we really look forward to Vicki's involvement in the economic development of Huron County”, added Warden McNeil.
