GOJHL comes down hard on teams not meeting vaccination requirements

The Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League says 30 games in its Golden Horseshoe conference have been impacted as a result of teams "utilizing players or staff who did not meet the requirements of the league's vaccination policy."

Several scores have been switched over to 5-0 losses in games where ineligible players participated.

Affected teams include Niagara Falls, Thorold, Hamilton, St. Catharines and Welland.

GOJHL Commissioner Brent Garbutt confirms no Midwestern Conference teams are affected and that their investigation into this matter has been completed.
