Local business donates to hospital

Joe Kerr Limited has donated money to the Wingham and District Hospital to support healthcare workers and families.

In a release from the Wingham and District Hospital Foundation, it was shared that the $15,000 donation will go toward new scopes for the Operating Room at the Wingham & District Hospital. The donation was made on behalf of the families of Joe Kerr Limited.

The equipment that will be purchased with the donation will help support the active surgical program that is available locally.

“Our employees are essential to our business success just as the hospital is for community. Making this donation is our way to acknowledge our employees and give back," said owner Andrew Kerr.
