Victim identified in horse and buggy crash in Huron County

Huron County OPP officers continue to investigate a fatal collision involving a horse and buggy and a SUV.

Just before 8:20 a.m. Tuesday, Huron County OPP, South Bruce OPP, Huron County Paramedic Services and North Huron Fire Department responded to the collision scene located on Howick-Turnberry Road (Huron County Road #7) near Kieffer Line.

The operator of the horse and buggy was transported from the scene to hospital, where they were later pronounced deceased.

The deceased has now been identified as Jacob Wall, 27, of Morris-Turnberry.

Two occupants from the SUV were transported to hospital with minor injuries.

Members from the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management & Enforcement (TIME) Team are assisting with the collision investigation.
