The search for a missing 10-year old just east of Mitchell ended in darkness Monday.
It was the second day of the search after the child was reported missing 10:30 Sunday morning.
In a tweet from the West Perth Fire Department, officials stated it was a long, cold day as firefighters supported the OPP and various search and rescue units along riverbanks.
Perth Road 160 has now been closed between Hwy.8 and south to Perth Line 32.
Perth Road 160 has be closed between Perth line 34 and Perth line 32. Incident Command will be based here and this will be the hub for all search operations.

Firefighters from Perth East and the Town of St. Marys are expected to provide some relief when the search resumes this morning.
Members of the public have offered to help in the search but officials have asked that people avoid the area due to the slippery banks.
