Police looking for suspect in fail to remain crash

Huron County Ontario Provincial Police officers are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a driver that failed to remain at the scene of a crash last night in Goderich.

OPP officers were called to the scene on Cambria Road South near Park Street at approximately 7:00 p.m.

The owner reported his sport utility vehicle was parked on the roadway when a smaller, red pickup truck collided with the rear end of his vehicle, before driving away southbound on Cambria Road. Police say the suspect vehicle was last observed heading westbound on Elgin Avenue.

The collision caused heavy damage to the parked vehicle. Police believe the suspect vehicle will have damage to the passenger side front end.
