Perth County OPP have charged a North Perth native following an injury to a firefighter.
On April 21st, North Perth Fire Department responded to a house fire at a property on Havelock Avenue South in Listowel alongside police. While firefighters were getting in position, a vehicle drove over a charged fire hose resulting in a firefighter being injured. They were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. Police have now charged a 74-year-old from Listowel with Careless Driving.
The accused was issued a Provincial Notice as a result of the charge.
