UPDATE: Provincial campaign in final stretch

Over 120,000 vote-by-mail kits were sent out by Elections Ontario.

The deadline to apply to vote by mail was on Friday.

747 kits were requested in the riding of Huron-Bruce, 618 in Perth-Wellington and 745 in Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound.

That works out to just under one percent of the eligible voting population in each case.

For those who have applied to vote by mail, Elections Ontario must receive the completed voting kit by 6  p.m. on June 2.
