Kincardine moves Community Event for Waterfront Master Plan indoors tonight

The Municipality of Kincardine is moving an event planned for tonight (August 25th) indoors.

The original plan was to host the Community Event for the Waterfront Master Plan outdoors at Station Beach, however, due to likely rain in the forecast, the event will now be held at the Davidson Centre from 6 to 7:30 this evening. The community session is to inform residents on the municipality's efforts to "craft a Waterfront Master Plan which helps to create a vision and framework for the future of Kincardine’s waterfront parks." The session will be in the Miller Insurance New Senior’s Room at the Davidson Centre.

For those unable to make tonight’s event, more information and the survey will be available online at http://www.kincardine.ca/Waterfront-Master-Plan.

“This first session plays a huge part in the creation of this plan,” says Jayne Jagelewski, Director of Community Services. “Our goal was to chat with folks and hear their thoughts right at the Waterfront, but the weather forecast has different plans. We’re inviting everyone to join us at the Davidson Centre tonight.”
