Kincardine to host fall recreation expo

There are plenty of recreational activities to participate in this fall in Kincardine, and you can learn all about them at the Fall 2022 Recreation Expo. 

Community organizations that can help you stay active are coming to the Davidson Centre on Tuesday, September 13th from 6 to 8 p.m.

Everyone is welcome to this free event where they can learn about the recreation and volunteer opportunities offered throughout the community.

“Our community is so vibrant and offers so many options for people to try new things,” says Recreation Supervisor Colleen Gillis. “This event brings them together in one location where folks can find out just how many great groups they can get involved with.”

The current list of attendees includes:

  • Kincardine Lawn Bowling
  • Celtic Academy Irish Dance Canada
  • 183 Typhoon Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron

  • Municipality of Kincardine
  • The Kincardine Sunset Quilting Guild
  • Kincardine Skating Club
  • Kinetic Knights – FRC Team 781 (Robotics)
  • Kincardine POWER Basketball
“This event really showcases what the Municipality of Kincardine has to offer folks to keep active and give back to their community. We look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday!” adds Gillis.
